DIGITAL X-RAY

Digital X-Rays are the latest generation of the standard form of radiology. X-Rays are the fastest and easiest way for your radiologist to assist your physician in a diagnosis. X-Rays are commonly used to assess broken bones, pneumonia, cancer, spinal abnormalities, arthritis, and other disease processes.

THE X-RAY PROCEDURE

Generally, multiple x-rays will be taken depending on the body part that is being viewed. There is no preparation for an x-ray, although patients may be asked to change into a gown to eliminate any interference from metal objects on clothing. A patient may return to normal activities once the x-ray is complete.

FOLLOWING AN X-RAY

A Tower Imaging Valencia Radiologist will interpret the x-rays and provide the patient’s physician with the results of the exam.
